I'm Jaohar Raihan, a React Native developer and product builder from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I graduated with a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) in 2024.
I started programming because I wanted to understand how software works under the hood and how concepts turn into interactive applications. Over time, that curiosity shifted from writing isolated code toward building complete products that solve real problems.
In my professional roles at OrangeToolz and Akij iBOS, I worked on mobile applications like Agent GoGo, SalesPype CRM, and Akij Dealer Khata. Those experiences taught me how real engineering teams maintain existing codebases, integrate APIs, structure application state, and troubleshoot edge cases.
Alongside refining my fundamentals, I'm building CutBook — a salon and parlour management POS created after talking directly with local shop owners who still rely on paper notebooks. I'm learning by building, testing in the real world, and improving with every step.
Started Computer Science studies at ULAB, learning foundational data structures, algorithms, and discovering how software executes.
Strengthened JavaScript foundations and began exploring React Native, building simple mobile interfaces and learning component state.

Building CutBook and working on business applications changed how I think about software engineering.
A feature isn't finished when the screen renders. It has to make someone's daily work easier, fit naturally into their habits, handle spotty connections, and be understandable to someone who doesn't work in tech.
I care about the problem, the user, the business model, and what happens after release — not just the code block.
I am early in my career and don't pretend to have every answer or know every tool at a senior level.
What I do bring is curiosity, ownership, and consistency. I learn by building real projects, speaking with real users, making mistakes, taking feedback, and showing up to build better the next day.
I want to become an engineer who can take an idea from a rough sketch to a dependable product that people genuinely use.
